DeCoste cabinets are an all-wood product. We are very proud of the fact that we do not use pressboard, melamine or MDF in our cabinetry.
Our cabinets are built with the best quality hardwoods and solid-core plywoods found anywhere. All of the drawers are solid hardwood, mortised and dovetailed. All doors are solid hardwood.
At DeCoste Kitchens, we deal solely with hardwoods. Presently, we work with oak, ash, maple, birch, cherry, and walnut.
Unlike other companies, our cabinets are not imported and put together prior to installation. They are built right here in our shop in Kingston, Nova Scotia. We employ some of the best craftsmen who take great pride in the product they build. We retain a staff of sixteen.
Members of our shop staff travel with Doug to the home to install the cabinetry, ensuring that the cabinets they built are installed the way they were meant to be.
